Responsibilities

Millennium Corporation is hiring a Cyber Assessment Analyst & Planner to work in VA Beach, VA. The candidate must have an active TS/SCI clearance.

 

Supports DOT&E CAP cyber readiness assessment planning, execution, analysis, and reporting for U.S. Navy organizations and assigned USSTRATCOM activities. The position coordinates with supported commands, operational staffs, technical organizations, exercise planners, and CAP personnel to develop and execute Government-directed cyber assessments and evaluate the effectiveness and readiness of supported cyber capabilities.


Essential Duties -

  • Plan and coordinate CAP cyber assessment activities supporting U.S. Navy organizations and assigned USSTRATCOM requirements.
  • Maintain recurring coordination with supported Navy organizations, USSTRATCOM, TSMO, operational staffs, technical personnel, and trusted agents.
  • Monitor operational and exercise planning cycles and identify assessment requirements, milestones, dependencies, and opportunities.
  • Participate in planning conferences, working groups, synchronization meetings, technical exchanges, site surveys, and assessment events.
  • Develop and coordinate CONOPS, Event Plans, ROE, Data Collection Plans, mission approval documentation, and other required assessment artifacts.
  • Support development and coordination of OPFOR and adversarial assessment activities when required by assessment objectives.
  • Coordinate personnel and technical capabilities required to execute Government-directed cyber readiness assessments.
  • Conduct and support on-site assessment execution and data collection.
  • Document and validate technical and operational observations during assessment activities.
  • Analyze collected information to identify cyber readiness gaps, operational impacts, trends, and recommendations.
  • Develop and contribute to assessment reports, OARs, briefings, and other analytical products.
  • Coordinate findings and observations with other CAP analysts and supported organizations.
  • Provide assessment status, requirements, risks, and execution information to the CAP Program Manager.
  • Travel to supported Navy, USSTRATCOM, and other DoD locations as required. 

Qualifications

  • Candidate must have an active TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree with 4 years of relevant experience OR Associate’s degree with 8 years of relevant experience OR 10 years of directly related specialized experience 
  •  Demonstrated experience in DoD cybersecurity, cyber operations, cyber assessment, operational test, or related technical activities.
  • Experience supporting military operational or exercise planning. 
  • Experience collecting, analyzing, and documenting cybersecurity assessment information. 
  • Ability to coordinate across multiple commands, organizations, and technical disciplines.
  • Strong analytical, technical writing, briefing, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to independently manage assigned planning and assessment requirements.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearances and accesses.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous U.S. Navy and/or USSTRATCOM cyber mission experience.
  • Previous DOT&E CAP, TSMO, operational test, or cyber assessment experience.
  • Experience supporting Combatant Command or Service-level exercises.
  • Experience developing CONOPS, ROE, Data Collection Plans, Event Plans, and post-assessment products.
  • Experience with Red Team, OPFOR, ACO, CAT, CET, or similar adversarial cyber assessment activities.

Business Development

Assist with Business Development activities as required to support Millennium's strategic business objectives, which may include but not limited to participation in technical interviews, creation of technical documentation, general proposal writing support and proposal color reviews.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be comfortable with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 10-15 pounds at a time.

Travel Requirements

20%-30%

COMPENSATION:

$150,000-$200,000

 

The salary range provided for this position is intended as a general guideline and does not guarantee a specific salary or compensation amount. Final compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including, relevant education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities
