Millennium Corporation is seeking a skilled Red Team Security Engineer to join our cybersecurity team in Charleston, SC.
This role is ideal for an offensive security professional with experience conducting penetration testing, developing custom tooling, and emulating advanced adversary tactics. The selected candidate will support complex security assessments across enterprise environments while helping strengthen customer security through realistic attack simulations.
The Red Team Security Engineer will also:
Active Top Secret Clearance.
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
Active DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE, CySA+, CND, CCNA Security, or equivalent).
One of the following certifications, or the ability to obtain within one year of hire: OSCP, OSWE, CRTO, CPTS, CBBH, PNPT, GRTP, GX-PT, or GXPN.
3+ years of experience in software development, systems engineering, or computer networking, including 1+ year of hands-on penetration testing experience.
Proficiency with Python, PowerShell, and Bash scripting.
Experience with web application security assessments, TCP/IP networking, packet analysis, and offensive security tools such as Kali Linux and Cobalt Strike.
Understanding of Red Team command-and-control (C2) infrastructure, emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and exploitation techniques.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and manage penetration testing engagements from planning through reporting.
