Responsibilities

Millennium is hiring a Sustainment Engineer to join us for an on site position in Stafford, VA. An active secret clearance is required to qualify for consideration.

 

The Sustainment Engineer will:

 

  • Review, develop, and comment on technical documentation (requirements, CAD files, test plans/reports, technical review documents, engineering change documents).
  • Conduct technical analyses, and attend design and Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) reviews;
    Witness the integration of hardware onto the platforms and the execution of tests, and review test plans and reports;
  • Develop Informational Briefs and provide results of modification tasks.
  • Provide engineering and technical analysis on the mechanical systems of a vehicle or other complex systems.
  • Develop and comment on various engineering documents (Specifications, ICDs, ECPs, Test Plans/Reports, Engineering Analyses, DLA Form 339s).
  • Participate in the planning and execution of test events, to include reviewing and providing comment to test plans and reports.

Qualifications

  • Candidate must have an active secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering field and a minimum of 4 years of experience.
  • Experience in providing systems engineering support to a defense acquisition program.
  • Experience in drafting, reviewed, and provided input to various technical documentation (DLA Form 339s, CAD files, ECP documents, test plans and reports, engineering processes and procedures, and technical review documents) to address sustainment issues and identify technical risks.
  • Experience participating in technical analyses, designing change reviews, and witnessing the integration of hardware onto the platform.

Business Development

Assist with Business Development activities as required to support Millennium's strategic business objectives, which may include but not limited to participation in technical interviews, creation of technical documentation, general proposal writing support and proposal color reviews.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be comfortable with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 10-15 pounds at a time.
