Millennium Corporation is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to work in Las Vegas, NV (Nellis AFB). The candidate must have an active Top Secret clearance.

The Senior Software Engineer will provide engineering expertise by leading the design, development, and experimentation of software capabilities that advance distributed, interoperable, and data-centric operations across domains. The candidate will also spearhead innovation events, prototype user-centric applications (including tablet-based systems), and integrate with emerging DAF digital standards like TAK, Open Mission Systems (OMS)/Universal Command and Control Interface (UCI), and Government Reference Architectures (GRA).

The Senior Software Engineer will also:

• Lead software development efforts for tablet-based and tactical edge applications that support C2, situational awareness, and data dissemination in contested environments.
• Plan and lead innovation events such as hackathons, capability sprints, or user-centered design workshops to rapidly prototype and iterate on mission-critical software.
• Architect and implement modular, interoperable software solutions aligned with OMS/UCI and DAF government reference architectures.
• Develop plugins, adapters, and services for Tactical Assault Kit (TAK) or TAK-like frameworks to enable real-time data sharing and mission execution.
• Collaborate with operators, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop and refine software capabilities based on operational feedback.
• Integrate software solutions into existing tactical networks, cloud environments, and cross-domain systems.
• Work within Agile/DevSecOps environments using tools like GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity requirements, secure coding standards, and support RMF/ATO documentation.
• Contribute to system architecture design, data modeling, and interface definition for experimentation and field integration.

• Candidate must have an active Top Secret clearance.
• BA/BS degree within a relevant discipline and 8 years of experience (5 years within a DoD acquisition office)
• Demonstrated experience supporting all system engineering activities: requirements, design, verification, risk, interfaces, and configuration management.
• Demonstrated experience developing and documenting system architectures, identifying gaps, and recommending solutions using traditional or MBSE approaches.
• Experience preparing/reviewing specifications, and applying modeling/simulation to optimize performance

• Must be comfortable with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 10-15 pounds at a time.
