Responsibilities

Millennium Corporation is hiring a BI & Requirements Lead to work 100% REMOTE. The candidate must have an active secret clearance. 

 

We are seeking a strategic Business Intelligence & Analytics Requirements Lead with strong experience in Databricks and cloud data platforms to lead the end-to-end process of capturing business intelligence requirements and translating them into scalable analytics solutions. This role will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring the successful delivery of high-impact BI and data products.

 

Key duties:

  • Lead the collection, analysis, and documentation of business intelligence and analytics requirements across departments.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business goals, KPIs, and reporting needs.
  • Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications for BI developers and data engineers.
  • Serve as the liaison between business units, data engineering, data science, and IT teams.
  • Utilize Databricks to explore, transform, and analyze data; support development of notebooks, pipelines, and queries.
  • Guide teams in building and maintaining dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
  • Ensure data governance, quality, and compliance in analytics solutions.
  • Support data model design and ETL/ELT processes aligned with business requirements.
  • Drive process improvements for requirement gathering, documentation, and delivery.
  • Mentor junior analysts and promote best practices in business analytics.

Qualifications

  • Candidate must have an active secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in BI, data analytics, or data product management.
  • Strong experience in Databricks, including Delta Lake, SQL, and notebook workflows.
  • Proficient in SQL, data modeling, and business requirements analysis.
  • Familiarity with BI visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, etc.).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and modern data architectures (e.g., lakehouse).
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or MBA with focus on Analytics or Technology.
  • Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
  • Knowledge of data governance tools and frameworks (e.g., Collibra, Alation).
  • Exposure to data cataloging and lineage tools.

Business Development

Assist with Business Development activities as required to support Millennium's strategic business objectives, which may include but not limited to participation in technical interviews, creation of technical documentation, general proposal writing support and proposal color reviews.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be comfortable with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 10-15 pounds at a time.
