Responsibilities

Millennium Corporation is hiring a Senior Program Manager at Hanscom Air Force Base, MA. Qualified candidates must have a Top-Secret clearance.

 

  • Provide program-level acquisition support to the government Program Manager and Team Leads.
  • Maintain acquisition battle rhythms and assist program leadership by facilitating successful contract execution for the program.
  • Analyze the overall health of the program and advise program leadership on options for maintaining cost, schedule, and performance objectives.
  • Develop briefings and schedules of program status.
  • Provide expert Program Management inputs to Request for Proposal (RFPs), including systems specs, Electronic Warfare Systems (SRDs), Statement of Work (SOWs), Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLs), and other RFP products
  • Review acquisition documents and provide comments when needed to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Prepare, review, and develop regulatory acquisition reports and milestone review documentation.
  • Provide guidance and expertise on AFMC and AFLCMC Instructions, Directives, and Regulations.
  • Advise the Program Manager on best practice methods to achieve process improvements, efficiency, and potential cost avoidance.
  • Assist with the planning, evaluation, and implementation of program acquisition strategies.
  • Update acquisition reports such as the Monthly Activity Reports (MAR), Source Approval Request (SAR), Defense Acquisition Executive Summary (DAES), and Acquisition Program Baseline (APB).
  • Prepare and submit Purchase Requests and Purchase Orders.
  • Work with the Comprehensive Cost and Requirement System (CCaR).
  • Review and track the prime contractor deliverables status and schedules.

Qualifications

  • Must have an active Top-Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • 30 years of experience, with at least 20 years supporting a DoD environment.
  • Must be able to cordially work with leadership teams and scheduling personnel.
  • Have some familiarity with cloud-based systems.
  • Have experience managing and projecting cost and performance.
  • Have prior experience with Mission Planning, Independent Validation, Verification & Evaluation.
  • Must have prior experience supporting a team that have worked in the Agile method, CI/CD, and DevOps principles.
  • Must comprehend policies and practices of systems acquisition and program management, as they pertain to the US Air Force.
  • Possess knowledge of qualitative and quantitative techniques for gathering, analyzing, and measuring the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of acquisition programs.

Business Development

  • Assist with Business Development activities as required to support Millennium's strategic business objectives, which may include but not limited to participation in technical interviews, creation of technical documentation, general proposal writing support and proposal color reviews.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be comfortable with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 10-15 pounds at a time.
