Responsibilities

Millennium Corporation is hiring a Foreign Military Sales Analyst to work in Ft Belvoir, VA. All candidates MUST have an active secret clearance to qualify for consideration.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Cradle-to-grave support of FMS cases from initial equipment request through long-term program life-cycle sustainment planning.
  • Track FMS cases through the development and execution process.
  • Analyze and manage all aspects of FMS casework in accordance with the Arms Export Control Act, the Security Assistance Management Manual (SAMM), and the International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR) as well as applicable DoD Acquisition policy guidance.
  • Organizing research into foreign government requirements.
  • Monitor program status, coordinate logistics, and ensure export law compliance.
  • Maintain accurate records of important meetings and schedules for implementing FMS strategies
  • Collect, complete, organize and interpret programmatic, technical, and financial data supporting FMS cases.
  • Prepare and assist with the development of briefings for internal and external stakeholders, including foreign partners, and manage and track action items.
  • Prepare letters of acceptance (LOA), identify material, services, and shipping requirements, and estimate system life cycle costs.
  • Conducting technical reviews and analysis for Letters of Request (LOR).
  • Review and make recommendations on newly requested FMS cases and LORs.
  • Calculating manpower for FMS cases.
  • Developing unique FMS case notes.
  • Coordinating total package advanced planning for products and ensuring that Total Package Approach (TPA) sheets are accurate and are utilized in the case development process.
  • Vetting release of FMS country-requested equipment in accordance with technology security and transfer requirements, export controls, disclosure of classified and controlled unclassified information, and system-specific release requirements for sensitive technologies frequently requested by foreign partners.
  • Receiving, processing and tracking requisitions.
  • Forecasting congressional notifications.
  • Developing and implementing logistics program activities, including support for purchases, transfers, and leases of weapon systems, and technical documentation.
  • Coordinating efforts of subcontractors and field service personnel, resolving logistics problems and compiling data on standardization and interchangeability of parts to expedite logistic activities.
  • Resolve highly sensitive and complex problems.
  • Ability to prepare and brief senior management.
  • Effective communication with various groups, including internal and external customers and high-ranking government officials.
  • Highly organized with the ability to see both the details and the big picture

Qualifications

  • Candidate must have an active secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience.
  • Foreign Military Sales experience
  • Understanding Foreign government requirements/DoD Acquisition

Business Development

Assist with Business Development activities as required to support Millennium's strategic business objectives, which may include but not limited to participation in technical interviews, creation of technical documentation, general proposal writing support and proposal color reviews.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be comfortable with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 10-15 pounds at a time.
