Responsibilities

Millennium Corporation is hiring a Configuration Manager to work 100% remote. The candidate must have an active Secret Clearance to be considered.

 

The Configuration Manager will:

  • Contribute substantive content for maintaining and developing the CM environment for hardware and software product build, staging, testing, and integration.
  • Contribute substantive content for software quality assurance process audits.
  • Display an in-depth understanding of the concepts of defining hardware and software configuration processes and procedures.
  • Define, document, and maintain the CCB, including roles and responsibilities of CCB members.
  • Define hardware and software configuration processes and procedures, version control processes, policies, and procedures to ensure they are followed on hardware and software development projects.
  • Utilize CM tools to store, track, and manage configuration items.
  • Analyze changes of product design to determine the effect on the end product design and function and determines and prepares documentation necessary for change.
  • Coordinate with customers and manufacturers to determine a process for change reporting.
  • Review released engineering change data and change documenting activities to ensure adherence to configuration management procedures and policies. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field from an accredited institution and a minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience. 
  • Must possess an understanding and proficiency with version control, Configuration Manager Tools, and the Change Control Board (CCB) processes.
  • Candidate must have an active Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Dimensions
  • Proficiency with PowerBI
  • Practical exprience with Confluence and Jira
  • CMPIC certification 

Business Development

Assist with Business Development activities as required to support Millennium's strategic business objectives, which may include but not limited to participation in technical interviews, creation of technical documentation, general proposal writing support and proposal color reviews.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be comfortable with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 10-15 pounds at a time.
