Responsibilities

Millennium Corporation is hiring a Logistician to work in a hybrid capacity from Charleston, SC. All candidates must have an active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility to qualify for consideration.

 

Logistician will provide lifecycle logistics support and ensure quality in custom Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) capabilities developed for the USMC as required by the customer; which may include but not be limited to:

 

  • Attend/participate in the SCI COMMS FoS Team Meetings.
  • Maintain configuration management and control of all hardware & software configuration items, documentation, media and parts, which includes organization structure with configuration control methods, configuration audits and configuration status accounting procedures. Support procurement activities for software replacement to operational systems for legacy and IP operational systems.
  • Provide logistical input to procurement and technical data packages.
  • Support Stock List (SL)-3 development and validation & verification of Test Instructions (TIs) and Modification Instructions (MIs); and develop Modification and Supply Instructions (MI and SI).
  • Revise repair manuals, tech bulletins, and supply catalog data; and analyze and make recommendations pertaining to technical problems received from users and data catalogers.
  • Perform kitting of system components and kitting of unit level support kits.
  • Manage system depot spares and perform configuration management of software & hardware, maintaining Item Unique Identification (IUID)/ Unique Identification Identifier coding for equipment including using bar-coding/RF Identification tags.
  • Provide IUID inventory report; and update and maintain equipment/software inventory listings, shortage items lists and traceability to software licenses in the repository.
  • Implement configuration control methods and procedures which maintain the integrity and traceability of an established baseline. Follow all Information Technology (IT) systems and application registration process and procedures for systems registered under DoD Information Technology Portfolio Repository (DITPR). This includes preparing required request forms for the initial registration of software application and providing status reporting on approved and disapproved registered software application maintained on software baselines.
  • Research and procure specified equipment and material as contractor-acquired property (CAP).
  • Develop or update of Life-Cycle Logistics Support Requirements, Life Cycle Sustainment Plans, Training System Plan, Life-Cycle Cost Estimates, Logistics Requirements Funding Summaries, Independent Logistics Assessment and other milestone-required documentation, data calls and events.
  • Support Staff meetings, Technical Review Boards, Configuration Control Boards (CCB), program engineering meetings, Integrated Product Team (IPT), working groups, training events, Fleet Support Teams (FST) program reviews, System Engineering Technical Reviews (SETR), System Readiness Reviews (SRRs), Logistics Supportability Analysis, and logistics support meetings.
  • Maintain logistics instructions, directives, and policies. Support logistics data calls including maintaining digital data and development of draft inputs. Support Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS); chartered working groups for program systems. Develop required logistics input for briefs, other logistics documentation for project systems.
  • Provide input/review program Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) to reflect logistics related milestones.
  • Coordinate Integrated Logistics Support Management Team meetings (ILSMTs)
  • Record meeting minutes and action items from all logistics related meetings and develop ILS schedules.
  • Support fielding events at designated USMC installations.
  • Assist in developing New Equipment Training (NET) curriculum for Operators and Maintainers IAW guidance provided by NIWC Atlantic and conduct NET training during implementation.
  • Communicate and collaborate well with team members.
  • Exp with portable, automated, Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) and Electronic Warfare (EW) capabilities; preferably with US Navy and/or USMC capabilities

Qualifications

  • Candidate must have an active Top Secret Clearance with SCI elgibility
  • Bachelor’s degree and  Ten (10) years of experience in defense lifecycle (acquisition) logistics support (or 2 additional years if not DAWIA Level I certified) of electronic systems, to include: logistics management, principles, practices, and processes. Four (4) years of experience in support of C4ISR systems.

  • Demonstrated skills, to include: Analyzing Engineering/Systems Management Data; Developing Logistics Plans and Procedures; and Developing Logistics Management Plans and Guidelines. Experience may be achieved simultaneously.

  • Candidate must be 8570 Certified, A + CE, Network +, OR SSCP certification or must obtain within 6-months of hire 

Business Development

Assist with Business Development activities as required to support Millennium's strategic business objectives, which may include but not limited to participation in technical interviews, creation of technical documentation, general proposal writing support and proposal color reviews.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be comfortable with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 10-15 pounds at a time.
