Responsibilities

Millennium Corporation is hiring an Administrative Assistant to work in Huntsville, AL. The candidate must have an active secret clearance.

 

 Do you possess strong communication skills, have attention to detail, and can manage multiple tasks efficiently? This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of administrative functions within the organization, particularly in support of the U.S. Army Rapid Capabilities and Critical Technologies Office (RCCTO) and its various project offices.

 

This is a full-time position with work anticipated mid December 2024 upon award. 

 

Duties involved with this role:

  • Providing comprehensive administrative support to senior management and project teams, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and organizing travel arrangements.
  • Documentation Management: Prepare, edit, and maintain a variety of documents, including reports, presentations, and correspondence. Ensure all documents are accurate and formatted correctly.
  • Serving as a point of contact for internal and external communications, and .facilitating communication between departments and project offices
  • Meeting preparation and coordination
  • Data management, records and systems support.
  • Assisting project teams with administrative tasks related to project management, including tracking project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Supporting logistical arrangements for events, workshops, and training sessions, including venue selection, catering, and materials preparation.
  • Assisting with financial tasks such as processing invoices, tracking expenses, and preparing budget reports.

Qualifications

  • Candidate must have an active secret clearance.
  • Associate's degree in Business Administration or a related field; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 4-8 years of administrative support experience, preferably in a government or defense-related environment that incorporates
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and experience with project management software and database management.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of staff and external stakeholders.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
  • Discretion: Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Experience with the U.S. Army or other military organizations desired.
  • Familiarity with program management and logistics processes desired.

Business Development

Assist with Business Development activities as required to support Millennium's strategic business objectives, which may include but not limited to participation in technical interviews, creation of technical documentation, general proposal writing support and proposal color reviews.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be comfortable with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 10-15 pounds at a time.
