Responsibilities

 

Millennium Corporation is currently seeking to hire a Director, Customer Solutions for its corporate office in Arlington, VA or remote.  Candidate must be eligible to obtain a Top Secret clearance. The role supports the development of growth opportunities across the portfolio including Cyber Security, IT, and SETA with a focus on DOD marketspace.  This candidate will have an extensive understanding, experience growing companies in the DOD market, and reports directly to the VP, Service Operations.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Laser focus on driving organic Growth for the company focused on near-term revenue generation.
  • Develop and lead a customer relationship plan that expands upon existing relationships and introduces Millennium to new DOD stakeholders.
  • Expand existing DOD pipeline by identifying and qualifying opportunities that are aligned to Millennium’s strategy and growth objectives
  • Inspire creativity and drive success for the Millennium brand - coordinating strategies that uniquely position and differentiate Millennium Corporation from its competitors.
  • Is the primary liaison between the Operations and Business Development teams. 
  • Contribute to forecasting reports shared across the Millennium staff using tools such as GovWin, Customer Forecasts, and other opportunity repositories of information.
  • Contributes to the development of strategies and responses.
  • Presents capability statements and other new business information presentations
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Candidate must be eligible to obtain a Top Secret Clearance
  • Effective oral, written, and presentation communication skills coupled with the ability to establish and maintain productive customer and industry networks
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize multiple on-going projects at a rapid pace
  • A strong understanding of DOD procurement lifecycle, Requests for Proposals/Information/Quote, Sources Sought, unsolicited proposal responses and capability statement development
  • In-depth knowledge of military/federal acquisition models, practices, and techniques
  • Collaborative style of engagement with the ability and demeanor to work closely with others
  • Experience using MS Office tools, as well as, the ability to generate reports, presentations, metrics and other data necessary to support bid decisions

Desired:

  • BS/BA preferred in Business Administration/Marketing
  • Working knowledge of SETA and Cyber Security business and management services delivery models
  • Extensive relationships across DOD senior leadership and with industry partners relevant to Millennium growth.
  • Previous experience in a DoD acquisition program office
  • Proven capability to Grow market share through operational and new work sales to capture / win $10M+ opportunities
  • PM experience with P&L responsibilities

Business Development

Assist with Business Development activities as required to support Millennium's strategic business objectives, which may include but not limited to participation in technical interviews, creation of technical documentation, general proposal writing support and proposal color reviews.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be comfortable with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 10-15 pounds at a time.
