Responsibilities

Millennium Corporation is hiring a DevSecOps Engineer (Cybersecurity) to work remotely. A US government security clearance is required.

 

  • Work within our cybersecurity team as an expert in DevSecOps and CI/CD principles
  • Utilize front-end development to create dashboards from data ingestion and analysis
  • Develops mitigation strategies for DoD information systems
  • Develop and support containerized services within a Kubernetes cluster
  • Work with our cybersecurity, testing, and Operations teams to provide an automated process
  • Develop and update understandable cybersecurity-related documents in support of programs
  • Identifies Common Criteria and National Information Assurance Partnership (NIAP) certified technologies.
  • Evaluate cybersecurity products in use by programs to validate compliance with US Navy requirements.

Qualifications

  • Have an active Secret clearance at minimum
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, computer science, mathematics, or a relevant field of study and 8 years of work experience. A high school degree can substitute for a college degree if you can demonstrate 13 years of work experience
  • 2+ years of work experience integrating DevOps pipeline with test automation tools
  • Experience working within an AWS/Azure cloud environment
  • Experience scripting in a Linux environment
  • Strong knowledge of Git, YAML, JIRA, Kubernetes ServiceNow, and CI/CD principles
  • Prior Experience in security compliance, security monitoring, security incident response, or security analytics
  • Prior experience working in Information Assurance and practical knowledge of creating Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and establishing a Risk Management Framework
  • Prior experience with DOD Assessment & Authorization
  • Have one of the following IAM Level II certifications: CAP, CASP+CE, CISM, CISSP, GSLC, CCISO preferred

Business Development

Assist with Business Development activities as required to support Millennium's strategic business objectives, which may include but not limited to participation in technical interviews, creation of technical documentation, general proposal writing support and proposal color reviews.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be comfortable with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 10-15 pounds at a time.
