Responsibilities

Millennium Corporation is hiring a Navy Qualified Validator to support a new program in Virginia Beach, VA. The ideal candidate will have an active security clearance.

 

  • Attend and provide meeting minutes for Support Program Reviews, System Requirement Reviews, and checkpoint reviews for the purpose of providing security and accreditation issue inputs
  • Support multiple US Navy projects in providing the validation service for the RMF Assessment and Accreditation packages
  • Serve as a trusted partner and serve as the CA representative for A&A purposes while working with the Program Manager
  • Test, evaluate, examine, investigate evidence, and ensure CCIs are implemented correctly and are effective in their application.
  • Provide the CA with an accurate technical evaluation of the application, system, or network
  • Document the security posture, capabilities, and vulnerabilities against relevant CCIs and draft an executive summary within the RMF package
  • Locate artifacts in the Government A&A reporting tool about the IT being certified
  • Execute A&A SAPs and document the results by loading it into the Government A&A tracking tool
  • Perform Risk Analysis and draft executive summaries

Qualifications

  • Active security clearance with eligibility to obtain a TS/SCI
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university highly preferred (but not required) OR have any of the following certifications: Certified Authorization Professional (CAP), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Routing and Switching, or CompTIA Security+
  • Minimum 5 years of experience 
  • Have a current Navy Qualified Validator (NQV) Level II or III certification
  • Minimum certification as 612 (or similar as required by the Technical Instruction) at the Intermediate level per DoDD 8140.01, or successor

Business Development

Assist with Business Development activities as required to support Millennium's strategic business objectives, which may include but not limited to participation in technical interviews, creation of technical documentation, general proposal writing support and proposal color reviews.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be comfortable with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 10-15 pounds at a time.
