Millennium Corporation is hiring a Requirements Analyst in Norfolk, VA. Candidate must hold at minimum an active Secret Clearance.


The Requirements Analyst will:


  • Have an understanding of the software development life cycle process
  • Coordinate with the government customer to determine process improvements for the Navy Program Office.
  • Plans, analyzes and evaluates the effectiveness of the Risk Management Information (RMI) which will allow users to plan, prepare, report, and execute operations.
  • Works with stakeholders to identify system changes, perform impact analysis and prioritize requests for change.
  • Participates in meetings and projects with stakeholders, staff, and project managers to establish functional  requirements and process improvement opportunities.
  • Responds to highly complex and time sensitive issues.
  • Reviews functional requirements and other documentation from multiple sources to identify and resolve cross initiative dependencies and ensured process consistency and repeatability across the government program offices.
  • Provides guidance or technical supervision to less experienced staff performing process engineering functions.


  • Must hold at minimum an active DoD Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics or related field OR High School diploma and 13 years of related experience 
  • eight (8) years of related experience including project management experience and best practices.
  • Experience with Navy or Air Force program offices.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology.
  • Exposure to software development or software process improvement.
  • Experience gathering and documenting technical and functional requirements.
  • Strong analytical, writing skills and multi-tasking skills.



  • Knowledgeable of Agile software development practices
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
  • Proficient in creating flowcharts and diagrams using Microsoft Visio
  • Ability to clearly document approved business requirements
  • Research and analyze business requirements for the RMI Dive Jump Reporting System (DJRS)
  • Communicate and validate requirements with relevant program stakeholders
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Business Development

Assist with Business Development activities as required to support Millennium's strategic business objectives, which may include but not limited to participation in technical interviews, creation of technical documentation, general proposal writing support and proposal color reviews.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be comfortable with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 10-15 pounds at a time.

Travel Requirements
