Responsibilities

Millennium Corporation is hiring a Acquisition Program Specialist to in Picatinny, NJ. Candidate must have an active Secret Clearance. 

 

The Program Manager will provide program acquisition recommendations, program coordination and guidance to support the decision-making process for Product Manager. Responsibilities include attend and lead Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings, provide research, analyses, and reviews; review and provide comments on reports and prepare original acquisition documents.

  • Provide technical program acquisition related recommendations and direct oversight pertaining to explosive ordnance disposal and electronic countermeasures.
  • Support the Test IPT in development of test plans as well as presentation/reporting of test activities and data.
  • Serve as an on-site staff action support officer for the Terrain Shaping Obstacles division within Project Manager Close Combat Systems at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ. Activities include creating, reviewing, updating, and staffing all program documents as required for Milestone Decisions such as Acquisition Strategy, Test and Evaluation Master Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents (ICD), Capability Development Documents (CDD), Capability Production Document (CPD), System Engineering Plan, Program Protection Plan, System Assessment, Integrated Program Summaries, Simulation Support Plans, Performance Specifications, Environmental Effects Reports, Insensitive Munitions Plans of Action and Milestones, Production Readiness Reports, Failure Analysis Reports, Master Plans, Environmental Plans and Assessments, Quality Assessment Reports, program presentations, milestone schedules, Work Breakdown Structures and procurement packages to support Life Cycle system milestone decisions, cost-reporting requirements, and to produce milestone packages.
  • Assist Product Manager with overall program execution by creating, staffing, monitoring/reporting on program documentation, status of milestone decision packages, and status of procurement packages and activities, to include coordinating/scheduling design reviews, as needed.
  • Assist with scheduling/performance/hardware availability of product demonstrations and attend industry symposia as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), as needed.
  • Assist in coordinating all required test activities to include hardware availability as needed.
  • Prepare and review draft briefing materials.
  • Attend, analyze, and report on meetings, review documents, contribute to the preparation of original documents, analyze cost, performance, risk, initiatives, evaluate the logistics impact of program and provide recommendations and course of action and ensure Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) budget justifications are aligned to the forecasted project funding.
  • Conduct, coordinate, participate, and record regular IPT meetings on assigned programs to ensure satisfactory progress and establish whether milestone schedules are met or exceeded.
  • Act as SME on engagements with senior leadership and the user community.

Qualifications

  • Candidate must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance 
  • Knowledge of the Army Acquisition Process, Army regulations and the DoD 5000 series and requirements for effective life cycle management of government programs.
  • Knowledge of Terrain shaping Obstacles
  • 10 - 15 years of Program Management experience 

Business Development

Assist with Business Development activities as required to support Millennium's strategic business objectives, which may include but not limited to participation in technical interviews, creation of technical documentation, general proposal writing support and proposal color reviews.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be comfortable with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 10-15 pounds at a time.

Travel Requirements
