Millennium Corporation is hiring a Scholarship Project Manager to work in Huntsville, AL. Candidate must be a US Citizen. 


This position will administer the scholarship program in support of DoD, DOT&E and US Army technical scholarship programs. Technical scholarships will be awarded to students at various universities around the country, requiring coordination with 30 or more separate institutions.

12 years of experience in a college or university student financial aid, admissions, or scholarship office is required. Substantial experience in scholarship administration is preferred. Experience with DOD Cyber Security Program Scholarship, NSF Scholarship for Service, or other USG service-based scholarship programs preferred.

  • Contributes to the development of an effective scholarship program by presenting data, analysis and recommendations.
  • Optimizes the use of scholarships to meet program mission objectives.
  • Serves as primary POC for all communications with students, administrators, bursar’s office and other interested parties regarding scholarship administration.
  • Work together with program staff to plan and execute program events
  • Manage, monitor, and ensure annual program budget spending goals are met.
  • Serve as the main program lead in annual scholarship selection process by reviewing applications for completeness and accuracy, initiating correspondence to clarify information, and organizing notification of student’s award status.
  • Enter student payment information and activities into database and record updates throughout the year.
  • Advises and guides students and through the scholarship process to include:
  • Verifying student eligibility and suitability for scholarships
  • Processing scholarship applications and supporting documents
  • Working with appropriate agencies to process personal security clearances, as required
  • Monitors student academic progress to ensure continued scholarship eligibility
  • Assist and advise students with scholarship payment questions and concerns, serving as an informational resource to current and incoming students
  • Coordinates with university staff to:
    • Monitor continued eligibility of students
    • Administer scholarship payments to all recipients so that awards are processed in a timely and accurate manner.
    • Perform other necessary administrative functions in support of the scholarship program
    • Ensure broad promotion of the scholarship opportunities, especially at target universities during application windows.


  • Candidate must be a US Citizen 
  • Bachelor's degree 
  • 12 years of experience in a college or university student financial aid, admissions, or scholarship office 
  • Substantial experience in scholarship administration 
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills - ability to develop, resource, and manage complicated processes and the workforce.


  • SHRM-CP Certification

Business Development

Assist with Business Development activities as required to support Millennium's strategic business objectives, which may include but not limited to participation in technical interviews, creation of technical documentation, general proposal writing support and proposal color reviews.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be comfortable with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 10-15 pounds at a time.

Travel Requirements

Up to 25% travel
