Overview

Millennium Corporation is hiring a Sr. Technical Recruiter to work 100% remote from one of the following locations DC Metro area, Huntsville AL, Wichita KS, or Ft. Gordon GA.  

Responsibilities

For over 15 years, Millennium Corporation has provided strategic management, cybersecurity and systems engineering to the Federal Government – driven by results and focused on people as we help our customers achieve mission success.  As a result of continued year over year growth, we are now seeking to expand our existing Talent Acquisition Team.

 

The Senior Technical Recruiter will be responsible for cultivating a pipeline of highly skilled individuals and managing the full-lifecycle talent acquisition process. This individual will partner with Executive Leadership across Millennium Operations, Business Development, HR, and Finance to be a trusted advisor supporting the workforce needs of the organization.  Expectations are to consistently turn viable interested candidates into engaged new employees, by providing a best-in-class hiring experience to both external applicants and internal Millennium stakeholders.

  • Builds relationships and networks with experienced professionals to develop and maintain a pipeline of both active and passive candidates for difficult-to-fill positions.
  • Provides full lifecycle recruiting which includes preparation, sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, feedback, hiring, and onboarding actions.
  • Builds relationships with departments and hiring managers to ensure an in-depth understanding of assigned positions and associated requirements.
  • Partners with the Recruiting Team to generate ideas and develop innovative sourcing strategies to attract talent, especially for hard-to-fill roles.
  • Develops creative sourcing strategies utilizing a combination of resources (Internal ATS system, social media, current and former employee referrals, LinkedIn, traditional job boards, etc.) to build a large and diverse applicant pool.
  • Presents fully screened and qualified candidates to hiring managers in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for influencing corporate culture and environment, to create a more inclusive workplace as well as monitoring performance of diversity and inclusion initiatives and Functional Affirmative Action Plans (FAAPs).
  • Finds passive candidates using proactive sourcing methods, high touch direct sourcing, and networking for current and future openings. Uses cold calling, database mining, internet/web searches, professional organizations, personal/functional networks, name generation as well as employee referrals to generate candidate leads.
  • Provides counsel to all candidates on corporate benefits, salary, and company culture.  Works directly with candidates (phone/text/email) throughout all stages of the Millennium selection process.
  • Collaborates with the Marketing Team to develop a cohesive recruitment branding message to internal and external applicants.
  • Assists with Business Development activities as required to support Millennium's strategic business objectives, which may include but are not limited to participation in technical interviews, creation of technical documentation, general proposal writing support and proposal color reviews.
  • Performs other related assignments, as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Must have a Bachelor's Degree. Preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Psychology, or related field. 
  • Must have 10+ years of relevant Technical and Cyber Recruiting experience within the federal or government contracting space.
  • Must have experience successfully recruiting for vacancies within DOD and Intelligence sectors, requiring cleared individuals at the Secret, Top Secret, and TS/SCI/Poly levels.
  • Must have experience supporting technical recruitment within the following specialties…Cybersecurity, Software Development, Systems Engineering.
  • Experience with recruiting for vacancies in Ft. Gordon GA, Ft. Meade MD, and Wichita, KS is preferred. (Note: will also support hiring actions for other locations nationwide)

  • Ability to foster company success through a professional appearance and demeanor.

Business Development

  • Assist with Business Development activities as required to support Millennium's strategic business objectives, which may include but not limited to participation in technical interviews, creation of technical documentation, general proposal writing support and proposal color reviews.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be comfortable with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 10-15 pounds at a time.

Travel Requirements

  • 10%
