Millennium Corporation is hiring a Sr. Acquisition Logistician at Ft. Belvoir, VA. Candidate must have an active Secret Clearance.


The Sr. Acquisition Logistician will be responsible for supporting and representing the Project Manager Terrestrial Sensors Product Support Manager (PSM) for all PM TS programs and systems. Responsible for managing the support functions required to track, field and maintain operational capability of major weapon systems, subsystems, and components. Responsible for accomplishing the overall integration of product support and life cycle sustainment management across a compliment of product support arrangements between the DoD services, organizations, product support integrators and product support providers to ensure life cycle sustainment arrangements are consistent with the overall product support strategy. Coordinate directly with program life cycle integrators to support the implementation, management, and oversight in support of acquisition, development, production, fielding, sustainment, and disposal of a DoD weapon or materiel system across its life cycle and optimize implementation of the product support strategy.


  • Understands complex acquisitions programs and processes; Performs analysis on a broad range of supportability requirements in order to enable Life Cycle Logistics
  • Serves as a technical advisor for acquisition logistics; Supports logistics planning, integration, coordinating, analyzing, and evaluating the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) elements in accordance with statutory and regulatory policies.
  • Conducts briefings with various stakeholders; Gathers information from multiple sources to develop holistic solutions. Communicates conclusions of analysis, recommendations, and issues to stakeholders.
  • Examines and integrates Systems Engineering (SE) requirements into the program’s supportability planning and requirement processes; Evaluates Engineering Change Proposals (ECP), engineer drawings and assesses their impacts to supportability.
  • Possesses working knowledge of Type Classification (TC), Material Release (MR), and Transition to Sustainment (T2S) policy; Capable of planning and implementing plans to complete these requirements.
  • Develops, evaluates, and updates programmatic documents to include the program’s Life-Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP).
  • Supports programmatic evaluations and reviews, risks management, and budget estimates.
  • Supports or executes various program Integration Product Teams (IPT) meetings in person or virtual telecommunication; Participates in cyclical status and program reviews; Records and compiles meeting minutes and action items for record.
  • Coordinates Depot level work requirements to include facilitization of maintenance capability, repair parts sparing, supply chain establishment, and supporting documentation.
  • Supports logistics product development to include operator/ maintainer manuals and Modification Work Orders (MWO); Evaluates Logistics Product Data (LPD), supports repair parts provisioning and National Stock Number (NSN) assignment.
  • Evaluates and provides feedback on contract deliverables from sub-contractors.
  • Validates and updates supply documentation and records; Performs inventory of program owned equipment.
  • Coordinates integration efforts with contracting, budget and operations personnel to assure all efforts are carried out.
  • Self-starter that has the ability to manage tasks with little or no supervision; Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and communication skills.



  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a Relevant Technical Discipline. 10 years of practical experience required. Two years of relevant experience with an Associate degree will be considered the equivalent of a Bachelor’s degree. Four years of relevant experience will be considered equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree.
  • DAWIA Level II in Life Cycle Logistics or Civilian equivalent
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite of software.
  • Able to obtain a military equipment operators license and operate military equipment.
  • Experience in the Army’s Field/Sustainment concept at both the operational and strategic environments.
  • Technical familiarity with electronic, automotive, and hydraulic equipment.

Business Development

  • Assist with Business Development activities as required to support Millennium's strategic business objectives, which may include but not limited to participation in technical interviews, creation of technical documentation, general proposal writing support and proposal color reviews.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be comfortable with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 10-15 pounds at a time.
