Overview

Millennium Corporation is hiring a Pricing Analyst (Mid-Senior) in Arlington, VA. Candidate must be eligible to work for any employer without sponsorship. 

Responsibilities

The Pricing Analyst (Mid-Senior) will: 

 

  • Review Request for Proposals (RFP), Request for Quote (RFQ), and Request for Information (RFI) to determine proposal cost requirements and identify issues which may require client clarification, and solicit input on appropriate approach needed to meet costing requirements and needs. 
  • Develop timely, accurate and compliant pricing models, basis of estimate (BOE), pricing assumptions, cost narrative, and cost estimating processes based on the requirements of the RFP. 
  • Develop pricing strategies and participate in pricing green reviews.  
  • Conduct Subcontractors Cost and Pricing Analysis, coordinate subcontractors bid review, analyze and prepare price submissions.  
  • Ensure adherence to Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARS), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFARS), CAS (Cost Accounting Standard), Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) and other applicable government regulations 
  • Analyze and develop estimates of labor, material, equipment, production, and other direct costs against actual expenses, historical data, or price-to-win data. 
  • Participate in pricing strategies for existing and new business opportunities to include business profitability analysis. 
  • Must be a decisive multi-tasker that can proactively track all program level financial data. Individual must be capable of forecasting cost information and predicting cost issues that need to be addressed with Program Managers and other Management as required. 
  • Performs monthly analysis and reporting of budget to actual cost/revenue/profit comparisons. 
  • Analyze, track, update and maintain cost estimates and actuals, workplans, change orders, estimated costs at completion and estimated cost to complete. 
  • Performs duties in support of Month End close Process, to include reconciliation of projects/accounts, review and analysis of monthly financial data 
  • Responsible for various financial functions such as analysis, revenue forecasting, monthly and quarterly direct cost review, overhead cost review, and profitability. 
  • Creates, maintains, and updates financial databases and spreadsheets, and generates various financial reports as required.  

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree 
  • 5-7 years of Pricing experience
  • Experience reviewing Request for Proposals (RFP), Request for Quote (RFQ), and Request for Information (RFI) to determine proposal cost requirements and identify issues which may require client clarification, and solicit input on appropriate approach needed to meet costing requirements and needs.
  • Experience developing timely, accurate and compliant pricing models, basis of estimate (BOE), pricing assumptions, cost narrative, and cost estimating processes based on the requirements of the RFP.
  • Experience develop pricing strategies and participate in pricing green reviews.  
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel

Business Development

  • Assist with Business Development activities as required to support Millennium's strategic business objectives, which may include but not limited to participation in technical interviews, creation of technical documentation, general proposal writing support and proposal color reviews.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be comfortable with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 10-15 pounds at a time.
