Overview

Millennium Corporation is hiring a Program Management Operations Analyst at our corporate office in Crystal City, VA. 

Responsibilities

  • Provide analytical support to Millennium Program and Project Managers by coordinating the financial, contractual, and regulatory activities of a program or project.
  • Create, interpret, and recommend reports and metrics used in the analysis of key project indicators.
  • Perform long and short-range planning, task tracking and closure and development and preparation of project deliverables.
  • Collaborate with Corporate staff to facilitate timely and accurate program and project analysis and reporting
  • Prioritize tasks and responses to inquiries and provides resolutions.
  • Coordinate with manager and corporate staff for development of status reports and briefing presentations to support program reviews.
  • Support the governance process to ensure project management standards are met.
  • Track program issues and action items.
  • Develop and review financial reports and spreadsheets.
  • Analyze and graphically represents project metrics in accordance with established corporate operational goals and objectives.
  • Recommend/implement process improvements.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in a government contracting firm
  • Possesses a bachelor's degree or in lieu of a bachelor's degree at least 6 years of experience in a government project management environment is required. 
  • Possesses strong administrative skills to track project status, risks and actions and resolves project issues with the guidance of the management team.
  • Have familiarity with DoD contracts.
  • Have strong, demonstrated experience with software: Microsoft SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, Project, and Excel.
  • Preferred experience developing and maintaining schedules, conducting research, and preparing project documentation, and developing methods to analyze and assess project health.

Desired 

  • Preferred experience in financial management activities such as tracking obligations and expenditures against the project spend plan and reporting status as well as developing, analyzing, and ensuring accuracy in financial reports and spreadsheets.
  • Secret Clearance 

Business Development

  • Assists with Business Development activities as required to support Millennium's strategic business objectives, which may include but not limited to participation in technical interviews, creation of technical documentation, general proposal writing support and proposal color reviews.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be comfortable with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 10-15 pounds at a time.

Travel Requirements

  • 10% or less
