Overview

Millennium Corporation is looking for a Data Warehouse Architect  in Austin, TX. Candidate must have an active Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

The Data Warehouse Architect will: 

  • Develop strategies for data acquisitions, archive recovery, and implementation of a database.
  • Work in a data warehouse environment, which includes data design, database architecture, metadata and repository creation.
  • Translate business needs into long-term architecture solutions.
  • Define, design, and build dimensional databases.
  • Develop data warehousing blueprints, evaluating hardware and software platforms, and integrating systems.
  • Evaluate reusability of current data for additional analyses.
  • Review object and data models and the metadata repository to structure the data for better management and quicker access.
  • Provide supervision, training, and quality assurance to junior personnel.
  • Capable of coordinating numerous ongoing data related efforts and forecasting future requirements.
  • Assess emerging technologies in the data storage/management space and makes recommendations to the government.
  • Assist with Business Development activities as required to support Millennium's strategic business objectives, which may include but not limited to participation in technical interviews, creation of technical documentation, general proposal writing support and proposal color reviews.

Qualifications

  • Must have an active Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other Scientific/Technical discipline
  • 10-15 years of related work experience in data architecture.
  • Must meet IAT-I requirements as specified in DoD 8570.01-M.
  • Must have experience with cloud native environments.
