Millennium Corporation is hiring a Program Operations Specialist in Hampton, VA. Candidate must have an active DOD Secret or Top Secret Clearance.


  • Coordinate development of various initiatives with HQ ACC Plans, Programs, Requirements (A589) and external agencies.
  • Support development of aircrew or aircraft/training device policy and standards for safe operations.
  • Support and influence life cycle cost related issues.
  • Develop long-range planning strategies to influence acquisition decisions related to the advanced weapon systems.
  • Determine formal flying training requirements and coordinate the allocation of training resources between MAJCOMs, components, and other end users.
  • Assist in the development of Readiness Reviews; Formal Training Reviews; and Training Annexes.
  • Oversee development of Operational Concept of Operations (CONOPS); deployment requirements; and operational manpower requirements.
  • Review deficiency analysis data; test reports; cyber vulnerability; technical data; and applicable failure data for trends or issues.
  • Oversee training systems and curricula, certifications and evaluation, tactics support for all elements of emerging capabilities.
  • Assist with generating unit Design Operational Capability (DOC) statements.
  • Support the Ready Aircrew Program (RAP) providing required expertise to develop and modify combat aircrew training requirements.
  • Assist with Business Development activities as required to support Millennium's strategic business objectives, which may include but not limited to participation in technical interviews, creation of technical documentation, general proposal writing support and proposal color reviews.


  • Active Secret or Top Secret Clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in operational/organizational analysis, organizational/executive leadership or management.
  • Ten (10) years’ experience on USAF MAJCOM or higher level staff (combination of active duty, Government service, or Contractor).

  • Five (5) years staff experience (combination of active duty, Government service, and/or Contractor) in operations, staff or working specific program or subject area of the specific A5/8/9 mission area being tasked.

  • Experience in close air support operations preferred.
  • Air-to-ground experience preferred.

Preferred Experience (Not Required):

  • Rated fighter aviation experience with the most recent operational flying experience within the last ten years.
