Millennium Corporation is hiring a Program Manager in Austin, TX. Candidate must have an active Secret Clearance.
Supports the missions of Project Manager Close Combat Systems (PM CCS) within the Joint Program Executive Office Armaments & Ammunition, Picatinny Arsenal,NJ. Serves as Liaison and Field Coordinator for PM CCS at the Army Forces Command (AFC) Headquarters at Austin, TX.
Program Manager Liaison / Field Coordinator activities center on representation of the PMCCS and its subordinate entities during all stakeholder interactions and in support of all functions and missions. Conducts and/or supports Key Leader Engagements with AFC leaders and support staff, its support organizations / agencies, Cross Functional Teams, and senior field leaders to support achieving program objectives by assessing the Doctrine, Organization, Training, Materiel, Leader Development, Personnel, Facilities, and Policy (DOTMLPF-P) circumstances and conditions germane to PM CCS provided capabilities.
Coordinates to address identified shortcomings and issues, facilitating coordination with external stakeholders to accomplish the same. Establishes relationships and lines of communication with the AFC action officers and user community to improve PM's support to Soldiers and units within their product line. Duties include engagements with the Army Combat Training Centers (CTC’s) at Fort Irwin, CA; Fort Polk, LA; Hohenfels, Germany; and Schoefield Barracks, HI, to glean insights and provide the PM’s a better understanding of product use, pre-positioning of equities, Home Station Training, and product performance during the execution of rotations. Supports the development, deployment and evaluation of technologies pursuant to Warfighter needs.
Focuses efforts on the highest priority modernization efforts to include Long Range Precision Fires, terrain shaping obstacle, mobility, military explosives, non-lethal capabilities and service-life extension programs for fielded capabilities.
Assist with program management, program documentation, technical and analytical support, and assist with the completion of general tasks. Coordinates with the lead points of contact within stakeholder organizations such as: Assistant Secretary of the Army (Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology), Army Test and Evaluation Command , Centers of Excellences, Combat Capabilities Development Command , Combat Training Centers, Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, Department of Army Staff, Forces Command, Joint Staff, Office of the Chief Army Reserve, Office of the Chief of Engineers, National Guard Bureau, Office of the Secretary of Defense Special Operations Command , Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command , Training and Doctrine Command ), United States Air Force and United States Marine Corps agencies.
Assist with Business Development activities as required to support Millennium's strategic business objectives, which may include but not limited to participation in technical interviews, creation of technical documentation, general proposal writing support and proposal color reviews.
