Millennium Corporation is hiring a Network Planning Manager to support the Army Cyber Command in Ft. Belvoir, VA. Candidate must have an active Secret clearance with eligibility to obtain a TS/SCI.
The Network Planning Manager will lead and/or support acquisition planning and execution for IT areas such as enterprise IT networks, user facing services, IT security services, enterprise hosting and storage, commercial cloud services.
Manages the evaluation of vendor provided software and hardware systems to ensure compatibility across the network.
Coordinates the acquisition, analysis, and installation of hardware and software at remote locations.
Leads programmatic and technical discussions with government and industry teams to initiate new program concepts and discuss program planning and execution approaches
Develops and implements department strategic plans, processes, and procedures; and enhances the integration between the team and other departments.
Oversees the development of a vendor managed network for an organization.
Oversees the day-to-day performance and activities of the team, including Network Engineers, to ensure service quality and network efficiency.
Conduct analysis and monitoring of “network as-a-service” requirements, performance metrics, financial limitations, and configuration of NaaS programs
Review vendor processes for monitoring, controlling, and managing recovery from any network failures or problems.
Active Secret clearance with eligibility to obtain a TS/SCI.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, information systems, engineering, scientific or a mathematics-intensive discipline or a Relevant Technical Discipline.
At least 5-8 years of practical experience required. 2 years of relevant experience with an Associate’s degree will be considered the equivalent of a Bachelor’s degree. 4 years of relevant experience will be considered equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree.
