    Millennium Corporation is seeking a Subcontracts Administrator. This position is based at Millennium’s Headquarters in Arlington, VA.

    Responsibilities

     

    • The Subcontracts Administrator will manage contract administration, proposals, purchase orders and subcontracts in accordance with applicable laws and corporate policy
    • Provide support to the procurement team by carrying out general administrative duties and placing orders for equipment and materials in compliance with the Government and Millennium policies and procedures.
    • Manage vendor agreements, NDAs and Teaming Agreements
    • Analyze contract requirements, special provisions, terms and conditions to ensure compliance with deadlines, laws, and corporate policies
    • Communicate contract policy and practice to internal business teams to ensure approval
    • Review solicitations and coordinate risk analysis and response for proposals, bids, and quotes
    • Conduct cost or price analysis
    • Regularly update the contract management system to incorporate contract and documentation changes
    • Communicate with vendors verbally and in writing to request financial information and due diligence documentation
    • Create purchase orders, ensuring completeness of all coding, dollar amounts, and details
    • Monitor small business goals on assigned subcontracts
    • Coordinate with technical staff, internal departments (finance and accounting) and participate in small business activities
    • Conduct research to support contract audit and/or facilitate business unit contracting trends

    Qualifications

    Must Haves: 

     

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • Between 3-5 years of contracting experience and working for a government contracting firm
    • Experience with Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPDCPFF), Time & Materials (T&M) and Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contracts
    • Costpoint purchasing system experience (highly preferred)
    • Working knowledge of the FAR, DFAR and other government agency acquisition supplements
    • Ability to draft and review simple contractual instruments
    • Familiarity with Contractor Purchasing System Requirements
    • Great interpersonal skills and can work well with others
    • Ability to exercise good business judgment and demonstrate a professional attitude
    • Strong writing and mathematical skills
    • Ability to handle multiple contractual activities and meet deadlines

    Desired: 

    • Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM) or Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM)
