  • Overview

    Millennium Corporation is hiring a Program Management Operations Analyst at our corporate office in Crystal City, VA. 

    Responsibilities

    • Provides analytic support to Millennium Program and Project Managers by coordinating the financial, contractual, and regulatory activities of a program or project.
    • Designs, interprets and recommends reports and metrics used in the analysis of key project indicators.
    • Performs long and short-range planning, task tracking and closure and development and preparation of project deliverables.
    • Collaborates with Corporate staff to facilitate timely and accurate program and project analysis and reporting, prioritization of tasks and responses to inquiries and providing resolutions.
    • Coordinates with managers and corporate staff for development of status reports and briefing presentations to support program reviews.
    • Supports the governance process to ensure project management standards are met.
    • Tracks program issues and action items.
    • Develops and reviews financial reports and spreadsheets.
    • Analyzes and graphically represents project metrics in accordance with established corporate operational goals and objectives.
    • Recommends/implements process improvements.

    Qualifications

    • Possesses experience working in a government contracting environment with strong administrative skills to track project status, risks and actions, coordinate and resolve project issues with the guidance of the management team.
    • Possesses experience developing and maintaining schedules, performing project research and preparing project documentation, and developing methods to analyze and assess project health.
    • Possesses experience in financial management activities such as tracking obligations and expenditures against the project spend plan and reporting status as well as developing, analyzing, and ensuring accuracy in financial reports and spreadsheets.
    • Have familiarity with DoD contracts.
    • Have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a professional service contracting firm.
    • Possesses a bachelor's degree or in lieu of a bachelor's degree at least 6 years of experience in a government project management environment is required. 
    • Have strong, demonstrated experience with software packages to include and not limited to Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Project and Excel.
