    Millennium Corporation is hiring a Chief Software Architect (CSA) in Huntsville, AL. 


    The CSA will lead the development of a Joint Intensified Cyber Operations (JICO) capability. Reporting directly to the Program Manager, the Chief Software Architect is responsible for implementing the technological vision of the JICO program.  The CSA the architectural development of several integrated software projects through initial requirements to prototype development, product delivery and long-term sustainment.

    • Select technologies, languages, and software libraries based on overall and individual project requirements.
    • Identify project interdependencies and integrations to create a holistic platform across multiple projects.
    • Develop project roadmaps, engineering schedules and cost estimates.
    • Provide strategic guidance for future integration of JICO program objectives.
    • Lead and mentor development efforts of junior and mid-level team members.
    • Participate in internal and customer-focused meetings to identify requirements, provide status updates, and integrate feedback into project roadmaps.



    Must Haves: 

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
    • The CSA should have 3+ years of experience in a software architecture or similar role and 15+ years of experience as a software developer/engineer.


      • Experience developing prototype solutions from initial concepts to minimum viable products.
      • Architecting new software and web applications, engineer patching and maintenance systems and oversee complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
      • Experience selecting technologies (i.e. programming languages, technology stacks, and software libraries).
      • Experience with multiple application architectures (web based, desktop applications, client/server applications)
      • Excellent written and oral communications skills



    Desired Experience:

    • Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
    • Active DOD Secret or Top Secret Clearance (must be able to obtain a security clearance if one is not already held)
