    Millennium Corporation is hiring a Deputy Program Manager in Arlington, VA. Candidate must have an active Top Secret Clearance.

    Responsibilities

    The Deputy Program Manager will: 

    • Executive level support with dedicated Program Management support to ensure that large Acquisition (i.e., ACAT/BCAT I) and Sustainment programs are delivering quality products while remaining on schedule and within Support could include development of draft responses to external data calls and briefing requests from DoD, ASN (RD&A), Stakeholders, Congress, GAO, etc., allowing the PEO/DPEO to focus on other priorities and resulting in minimal disruption to program goals.
    • Assist in review of PMO products and documents in preparation for senior leadership review, Gate Reviews, or Milestones, while providing lessons learned and consistency across the portfolio of products 
    • Provide support to special projects, both at the PEO-EIS level and PMO level, to identify and provide solutions to challenge areas, identify risk and mitigation steps, and report back on areas in need of greater attention. Attention will be provided across annual and recurring reports, to ensure consistency is achieved across programs and with previous reports, applying strategy and long-term vision to ensure a holistic view.
    • Provide Executive Level support for at least one Flag Officer and one SES
    • Provide subject matter expertise in supporting program management and acquisition of complex defense systems to include IT systems in support of a Flag Officer and SES
    • Coordinate Executive Level Forums such as Resources and Requirements Review Board (R3B), Fleet Commanders Readiness Council (FCRC), ACAT/BCAC I Flag reviews,) and Senior Leadership off sites. These activities will require application of functional knowledge of stakeholder organizations such as ASN (RDA), USD (AT&L), US FFC, OPNAV, Navy Cyber Forces, 10th Fleet, Naval Air Forces, Naval Submarine Forces, Naval Surface Forces, other PEO’s, SYSCOMS, industry partners and professional associations and their strategic priorities and processes.
    • Serve as the Senior Consultant to PEO EIS when engaging with organizations such as ASN (RDA), USD (AT&L), US FFC, OPNAV, Navy Cyber Forces, 10th Fleet, Naval Air Forces, Naval Submarine Forces, Naval Surface Forces, other PEO’s, SYSCOMS, industry partners and professional association 
    • Provide subject matter expertise in executive level writing to include brief development for congressional and four star briefs, speeches and articles 
    • Ensure all engagements and interactions follow military protocol 
    • Support Executive Level Strategic Planning for SPAWAR 00 and PEO EIS.
    • Screen incoming correspondence and materials (i.e. briefs, white papers)
    • Prepare executive level summaries and note areas of areas of intent 
    • Attend senior level forum as appropriate and disseminate information/assign actions resultant from the engagement 
    • Work across SPAWAR Competencies at the Executive and action officer As processes become more dependent, the Contractor must ensure to the maximum extent possible, a seamless coordination that reduces duplication of effort while ensuring a single product with enterprise buy- in.
    • Provide Executive level administrative support such as maintaining a Flag or SES level schedule, Flag/SES travel coordination, senior level meeting coordination, awards coordination, transcribing correspondence into the appropriate format and answering the phone 
      • Responsible for routing documentation for review among the PEO staff.
      • Support a wide range of duties with specialized task management and expertise in internal and external communications and Government affairs for key audiences including Congress and senior
      • Support management and oversight of projects for senior-level clients relating to policy, strategic communications, and
      • Support strategic planning efforts and organizational improvements to streamline business

    Qualifications

    Must Haves: 

    • Active Top Secret Clearance
    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university 
    • 10 years of demonstrated experience in DoD Acquisition Management 
    • PMP, DAWIA Level III Certification in Program Management or equivalent
