  • Overview

    Millennium Corporation is hiring a Lean Six Sigma Integrator in Huntsville, AL. Candidate must have an active Secret Clearance. 

    Responsibilities

    Qualified candidate will be responsible for: 

    • Leads and manages Lean Six Sigma project portfolios in order to accomplish measurable business process improvements.
    • Employs Lean principles and Six Sigma methodologies and analytics in organizational operations in order to accomplish customer-focused business objectives by eliminating waste reducing variation.
    • Works with Black Belt and Green Belts in the planning, designing, accomplishing and tracking of key projects.
    • The LSS Integrator teaches employees and mentors leadership to see waste and variation from the tactical to strategic levels.
    • Mentor LSS candidates within UHPO to certification.
    • Assist in teaching PEO level Yellow Belt/Lean Six Sigma Awareness classes.
    • The LSS Integrator shall provide recommendations in the analysis, planning and preparation of procurement documentation for aircraft, logistics hardware and support services in the execution of contractual actions.
    • Maintain records of LSS activity within the PM. Provide periodic reports to leadership.
    • The LSS Integrator shall provide program management support and recommendations for the performance of in-depth assessments of programmatic data such as contractual/data requirements, program schedules, program plans and milestone documentation, and information papers provided by the PM.
    • Act as the LSS subject matter expert for the PM

    Qualifications

    Must Haves: 

    • Active Secret Clearance
    • 5 years of relevant work experience with a Master’s degree, or 10 years’ experience with a Bachelor’s degree at minimum
    • LSS Black Belt (ASQ preferred), or Master Black Belt certification
    • Experience in a government/military office environment (preferred)
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
    • Ability to research and analyze data
    • Demonstrated ability to manage projects and people
