    Millennium Corporation is seeking a Data Analyst - SQL to work on the Navy Standard Integrated Personnel System (NSIPS) program in New Orleans, LA. Candidate must have an active Secret Clearance.


    The analyst is responsible for effectively analyzing and accurately documenting technical issues associated with a large, complex software application. The analyst reviews software change requests to provide assessments as to the completeness and accuracy of the information. Candidate must have dynamic functional knowledge of Navy Officer and Enlisted Distribution systems and policies, U.S. Navy Enlisted Career Information/Counseling Management requirements, and be well‐versed in US Navy Pay and Personnel policies along with a strong functional background with Navy Pay and Personnel.


    The NSIPS QA Analyst will work in a high operational tempo environment. The virtues of flexibility, focus and efficiency are paramount to meet deadlines. The analyst will be able to shift priorities based upon the changing environment. Focusing on tasking; making effective analytical decisions; and incorporating each experience for future similar decision-making requirements will generate optimum results.


    • Interact with government personnel to provide comprehensive information within tight time constraints
    • Develop SQL queries to execute both the test and production environment data bases
    • Utilize Oracle tools, SQL, and SQL Plus to monitor the NSIPS Web Production environment and conduct statistical analysis
    • Possess advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft office utilities
    • Possess experience with testing PeopleSoft HRMS
    • Identify software problems and anomalies
    • Possess software testing skills to efficiently and accurately execute software testing of all software changes
    • Write and test business rules associated with all software change requests
    • Complete dynamic functional testing of all Active Duty and Reserve components of the Navy’s HR software
    • Interpret software specifications and requirements
    • Apply various testing methodologies and testing tools, e.g., the Mercury tool suite
    • Export data query results into Microsoft Excel
    • Perform timing analysis on upload and feedback files from the NSIPS Production environment with the ability to analyze all file types
    • Prepare contract deliverables for the NSIPS QA Manager
    • Prepare reports within Business Objects along with conducting analysis on reports


    • Active Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance
    • Bachelor's Degree and at least 3-8 years of relevant experience
