  • Overview

    Millennium Corporation is seeking a Software License Manager in Aberdeen, MD. Candidate must have an active Secret Clearance. 

    Responsibilities

    The Software License Manager will be responsible for: 

    • Responsible for gathering/eliciting software licensing data/requirements from customers and user community or via reviewing and analyzing the version description documents (VDDs) for DCGS-A baselines and fielding data, in order to structure Enterprise License Agreements (ELAs) or large quantity license agreements.
    • Review and analyze the Rough Order of Magnitudes (ROMs), quotes, and proposals received from the vendors for software licenses and provide the most cost efficient recommendation to PM DCGS-A office.
    • Procure Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) software products for the program through working with various procurement/contracting vehicles, and preparing procurement documentation. 
    • Proactively verify and validate software license requests and process them as per the program’s Configuration Management process.
    • Continuously organize and track software procurements and distributions via spreadsheets/ database for license compliance and reporting purposes.
    • Provide prompt and utmost services and efficient solutions to licensing issues and inquiries received from all DCGS-A stakeholders.
    • Cross coordinate with the functional leads at DCGS-A which include logistics personnel, budget personnel, Technical Leads, System Engineers, Information Assurance engineers, and Configuration Management team for eliciting and clarifying software license requirements.
    • Interface with CECOM Legal and Contracting office on all DCGS-A software license legal and contracting issues.
    • Coordinate/manage the training and consulting services for COTS products that were procured under the ELAs or large quantity purchases.
    • Resolve issues regarding procurement approvals, requirements, lack of information, funding, license generation, and distributions.
    • Provide oversight of all DCGS-A software licenses under Software Engineering Center (SEC) sustainment at Ft Huachuca and APG.

    Qualifications

    Must Haves: 

    • Active Secret Clearance
    • Bachelor's degree and 4 years of experience, or 8 years of experience in lieu of degree
