Millennium Corporation is seeking an Information Assurance Engineer in Aberdeen, MD. Candidate must have an active Secret Clearance.
Qualified candidate will be responsible for:
Special Projects area of the CIO G‐6, maintaining comprehensive duties as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all information technology requirements and equipment by gathering, planning, and coordinating with RDECOM Headquarters and subordinate commands, and conducts project planning, management and implementation initiatives.
Procurement, programming, configuring, encryption and deployment of all required command mobile devices. Knowledge of DISA and NetCom requirements of applicable devices. Maintain multiple specific credentials or authorizations from vendors, DISA, and NetCom. Understanding of programming and operation of multiple handset brands and models. Maintain accurate user records on both the Army and vendor’s servers. Ability to apply Purebred encryption and soft certification to devices. Train the users on the functionality of each device. Setup and manage a US Army specific workspace embedded within the native OS. SME on each device across the mobility spectrum and able to troubleshoot, program, repair or replace malfunctioning hardware.
Network Conversion for Video Teleconferencing Systems: The contractor shall recognize and report vulnerabilities and shortcomings of current VTC network and lead conversion to a more stable, user‐friendly 7th Signal network; Research option for alternate H.323 networks; Make site visits for a better understanding of the potential offerings; Work with chosen network team to layout requirements and expectations; Manage notes from meetings for clarity of steps forward; Manage all pre‐production work, scheduling and personnel for the actual conversion; Be present at each conversion location to apply the new configuration to each system; Develop and maintain the password management system to be applied to the active systems.
During duty hours, the contractor shall ensure “daily readiness” for RDECOM HQs and Two‐Star Command leadership. VTC expressway dialing for Command Suite and system troubleshooting both classified and unclassified; Troubleshooting and repair of all audio visual, presentation system, computer, printer, display or ancillary electronic equipment; Landline digital telephone troubleshooting and repair; Attend meetings as SME related to electronic

Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Management, Information Systems Management, or a related discipline, as well as ten (10) years of general experience and six (6) years of relevant experience OR Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Management, Information Systems Management, or a related discipline, as well as twelve (12) years of general experience and eight (8) years of relevant experience.
