  • Overview

    Millennium Corporation is hiring a Cost Analyst to support our client in Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. Qualified candidate must have an active Secret Clearance. 

    Responsibilities

    • The Cost Analyst will be responsible for developing Program Office Estimates (POE), Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCE) and Lifecycle Cost Estimates (LCCEs) for Army acquisition projects
    • Analyzes program requirements and technical data to build cost models for PMO systems and maintain developed models
    • Advises contract analysts on pricing, cost, and other financial matters in support of contract execution
    • Evaluates price/cost proposals received by the government and technical/cost reports
    • Evaluates price factors in competitive proposals and cost elements in non-competitive proposals

    Qualifications

    • Active Secret Clearance 
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or in a related educational discipline with five (5) years’ experience in a DoD environment
    • At least (2) years of working experience with Automated Cost Estimation Integrated Tools (ACEIT)
    • Advanced knowledge of cost estimation methods, cost models, DoD cost and pricing processes
    • Experience with cost documentation such as the Cost Analysis Requirements Description (CARD)
    • Good written and verbal communication, organizational, math, and analytical skills
    • Ability to respond to challenging program questions and issues by researching and assimilating information into valid recommendations in a timely manner
    • Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), and MS Project

    Desired Experience/Skills:

    • Previous experience in a DoD acquisition program office
