  • Overview

    Millennium Corporation is currently seeking a Cost Analyst located in Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. Qualified candidates must have an active Secret Clearance. 

    Responsibilities

    Qualified candidate will be responsible for:  

     

    • Developing Program Office Estimates (POE), Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCE) and Lifecycle Cost Estimates (LCCEs) for Army acquisition projects, based on analysis of system functional requirements and other acquisition cost factors
    • Analyzing program requirements and technical data to build cost models for PMO managed systems and maintaining developed models
    • Advising Contract Analysts on pricing, cost, and/or financial matters in support of contract execution
    • Evaluating price/cost proposals received by the government and technical/cost reports for allow ability, capability, and/or reasonableness.
    • Evaluating price factors in competitive proposals and cost elements in non-competitive proposals

    Qualifications

    Must Haves: 

     

    • Active Secret Clearance 
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or in a related educational discipline with five (5) years’ experience in DoD or other Federal Agency cost analysis
    • Experience with standard cost estimation tools including Automated Cost Estimation Integrated Tools (ACEIT)
    • Advanced knowledge of cost estimation methods, implementation of cost models, DoD cost and pricing processes and preparation of standard cost documentation such as the Cost Analysis Requirements Description (CARD)
    • Good written and verbal communication, organizational, math, and analytical skills
    • Demonstrated ability to independently act as a consultant, to set priorities, to organize tasks, monitor assignments, and ensure completion of assigned work
    • Ability to respond to challenging program questions and issues by researching and assimilating information into valid recommendations in a timely manner
    • Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (especially MS Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook), and MS Project or similar systems

    Desired Experience/Skills:

    • Previous experience in a DoD acquisition program office
